The sterling silver front was individually drawn, pierced with a jeweler's saw, textured and shaped, with hand-forged accents throughout. Even the decorative bezel surrounding the carved labradorite began as a hand-drawn design before being pierced from sheet metal, soldered and formed around the stone.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe reverse is its own piece of artwork. An extensively hand-pierced botanical backplate creates a peekaboo design, allowing the colors of the gemstones to show through leaves, stems and tiny openings in the silver.
