Brilliant blue labradorites cascade beneath sculptural silver succulents in these one-of-a-kind botanical statement earrings. The long, slender gemstones are beautifully faceted, breaking their remarkable blue flash into shifting planes of cobalt, turquoise, icy blue and hints of green as they move through the light.
Above each stone is an intricate arrangement of genuine succulents cast into solid silver, preserving the tiny leaves, stems and clustered growth of the original plants. Each botanical composition is slightly different from its partner, giving the pair the natural asymmetry of something grown and organic.
The elongated labradorites are wrapped in smooth fine silver bezels, creating a clean frame around their dramatic color. Hand-forged sterling silver connections allow the gemstone drops to move independently beneath the botanical elements, adding even more movement and changing flash to the faceted stones.
The reverse is finished just as thoughtfully, with brushed sterling silver backs behind the labradorites. Hand-forged solid sterling silver ear wires complete the entirely silver construction.
At almost 3 inches long, these are substantial statement earrings with an elegant, elongated silhouette. Each earring weighs approximately 7.8 grams.

Stone note: Labradorite's remarkable color comes from an optical effect known as labradorescence. Its flash changes dramatically with lighting, movement and viewing angle. These stones have an especially vivid blue flash, with additional tones appearing as the facets move through the light.
I pour my heart and soul into crafting these unique, artisanal jewelry pieces. From concept to completion, every detail is carefully considered and executed by my own two hands in my humble home studio, ensuring a truly one-of-a-kind treasure.
Labradorite stones often feature small inclusions, which are a natural result of the stone's unique formation process. Labradorite is a type of plagioclase feldspar that forms through the slow cooling of magma deep within the earth's crust. As the magma cools, tiny particles of other minerals can become trapped within the stone, creating small inclusions. These inclusions are a testament to the stone's natural origins and do not detract from its beauty or value.
Labradorite is also revered for its powerful shielding properties, offering protection from negative energies, electromagnetic pollution, and emotional drain. It's said to create a barrier of light around the wearer, deflecting unwanted influences and promoting a sense of safety and well-being. By shielding us from negative energies, labradorite allows us to stay grounded and centered, even in chaotic or challenging environments.
