A luminous teardrop labradorite takes center stage in this one-of-a-kind botanical necklace, flashing with layers of blue, aqua and soft green as it catches the light. Nestled beneath the stone is a dimensional genuine succulent cast in solid sterling silver, giving the pendant the feeling of a tiny plant growing from the edge of the gemstone.

The labradorite is wrapped in fine silver and backed with brushed solid sterling silver. A solid sterling cast succulent and hand-forged silver accents complete the design, with an oxidized finish bringing depth and definition to the metalwork.

At approximately 1.75 inches long, the pendant has enough presence to showcase the remarkable labradorite while remaining an easy-to-wear size. The simple teardrop silhouette keeps the focus on the stone's natural color and the sculptural botanical detail below it.

Note: Labradorite's colors shift dramatically with lighting and viewing angle. This stone moves through blue, aqua, green and softer golden tones as the pendant moves.

I pour my heart and soul into crafting these unique, artisanal jewelry pieces. From concept to completion, every detail is carefully considered and executed by my own two hands in my humble home studio, ensuring a truly one-of-a-kind treasure.

Labradorite stones often feature small inclusions, which are a natural result of the stone's unique formation process. Labradorite is a type of plagioclase feldspar that forms through the slow cooling of magma deep within the earth's crust. As the magma cools, tiny particles of other minerals can become trapped within the stone, creating small inclusions. These inclusions are a testament to the stone's natural origins and do not detract from its beauty or value.

Labradorite is also revered for its powerful shielding properties, offering protection from negative energies, electromagnetic pollution, and emotional drain. It's said to create a barrier of light around the wearer, deflecting unwanted influences and promoting a sense of safety and well-being. By shielding us from negative energies, labradorite allows us to stay grounded and centered, even in chaotic or challenging environments.
