A luminous, statement-sized labradorite glows with shifting washes of gold, green, blue and violet in this dramatic one-of-a-kind botanical statement necklace. The stone’s natural veining runs through its brilliant flash like fine branches, giving it an almost landscape-like quality as the colors change in the light.

The labradorite is wrapped in fine silver and suspended beneath a large, dimensional solid sterling silver cast succulent. Hand-forged sterling silver attachment details create an open, articulated connection between the elements, allowing the long pendant to move naturally when worn.

Turn the piece over and the metalwork becomes part of the design: the labradorite is backed with richly embossed bronze covered in an intricate scrolling floral pattern. The warm bronze provides a beautiful hidden contrast to the cool silver on the front.

At approximately 4.5 inches long, this is an unapologetically substantial piece of wearable botanical art, designed around the extraordinary color and scale of its labradorite.

I pour my heart and soul into crafting these unique, artisanal jewelry pieces. From concept to completion, every detail is carefully considered and executed by my own two hands in my humble home studio, ensuring a truly one-of-a-kind treasure.

Labradorite stones often feature small inclusions, which are a natural result of the stone's unique formation process. Labradorite is a type of plagioclase feldspar that forms through the slow cooling of magma deep within the earth's crust. As the magma cools, tiny particles of other minerals can become trapped within the stone, creating small inclusions. These inclusions are a testament to the stone's natural origins and do not detract from its beauty or value.

Labradorite is also revered for its powerful shielding properties, offering protection from negative energies, electromagnetic pollution, and emotional drain. It's said to create a barrier of light around the wearer, deflecting unwanted influences and promoting a sense of safety and well-being. By shielding us from negative energies, labradorite allows us to stay grounded and centered, even in chaotic or challenging environments.
