About the Stone

Moonstone's enchanting glow comes from adularescence, an optical phenomenon created as light interacts with microscopic layers within its feldspar crystal structure. The result is a soft, shifting luminescence that seems to move beneath the gemstone's surface. Moonstone has a Mohs hardness of 6–6.5.
