A cascade of luminous labradorite gemstones creates these long, dramatic, one-of-a-kind earrings, with six individual stones selected for their brilliant flashes of blue, turquoise, green and gold.
Each earring holds three oval labradorites in a slender articulated drop. The stones vary beautifully from one to the next- some glowing with watery blue and green, others revealing deeper peacock shades and flashes of golden light. As the earrings move, each stone catches the light independently, constantly changing the colors visible across the pair.
Each labradorite is set by hand in a fine silver bezel over an embossed copper back. Small hand-forged sterling silver attachments connect the individual settings, allowing the three stones to move freely rather than forming a rigid drop. The earrings are finished with hand-forged solid sterling silver ear hooks.
At approximately 3 inches long from the top of the ear hook, these are unapologetically statement earrings, but their narrow silhouette keeps the design graceful. Each earring weighs approximately 7.5 grams.
Six remarkable stones, each with its own landscape of color, brought together in a pair designed to come alive in motion.

Labradorite stones often feature small inclusions, which are a natural result of the stone's unique formation process. Labradorite is a type of plagioclase feldspar that forms through the slow cooling of magma deep within the earth's crust. As the magma cools, tiny particles of other minerals can become trapped within the stone, creating small inclusions. These inclusions are a testament to the stone's natural origins and do not detract from its beauty or value.
Labradorite is also revered for its powerful shielding properties, offering protection from negative energies, electromagnetic pollution, and emotional drain. It's said to create a barrier of light around the wearer, deflecting unwanted influences and promoting a sense of safety and well-being. By shielding us from negative energies, labradorite allows us to stay grounded and centered, even in chaotic or challenging environments.
